Features

- Added experimental Algorithmic Optimiser machine. Inspired by Machine Learning supercomputers, this block improves the efficiency and resource use of neighbouring (NSEW & up/down in configurable range) blocks. Fine-tune which boosts to apply in the Optimiser's GUI. Machines affected by the Optimiser are the Scrubber, Tissue Bioreactor, Scaffolder, Processor, Shredder, Injector and Algae Bioreactor.

- Added Circuit Board items. Circuit boards come in Basic, Advanced and Superior types which can be used in the Optimiser to provide increased efficiency boosts. Circuit Boards provide a number of 'cores' or points which can be assigned to specific tasks in the Optimiser.

Patch

- Fix for Scrubber, Wind Generator and Tidal Generator animations incorrectly syncing to players on dedicated servers

- Machines now operate on a per tick basis instead of every 10 tick cycles. 

- Added better hitboxes for Wind Generator, Harvester and Cooker. The Solar Panel hitboxes now act in the same way as vanilla stairs meaning you can walk over them without jumping. Note that the selection box that shows when mousing over a machine will still appear as a full cube.

Note: If you've been keeping up to date with the other Beta releases, there are no major changes from 1.3.15-beta in this version. If you're updating from 1.3.3 (Release), please make a backup of your world just in case!

 

I am now concentrating on porting Emerging Technology to the latest Minecraft versions (1.14+), so updates will mainly consist of bug fixes for a little while. 

 

Feature changes from 1.3.3 to 1.3.16:

- Added experimental CraftTweaker support for processing machines (e.g. mods.emergingtechnology.Shredder.addRecipe(minecraft:glowstone_dust, minecraft:glowstone)

- Added experimental Agricraft cropstick harvesting for Harvester.

- Long tooltips are now hidden until the player presses the Shift key

- Wind Turbine now operates at full capacity in stormy weather

- New CO2 Diffuser machine. This machine uses Carbon Dioxide to boost the growth of nearby crops. The boost and range of the Diffuser is determined by the installed Nozzle. Only crops along the North, East, South and West facing blocks are affected.

- New CO2 gas.

- New Nozzle items. These items are used in the Diffuser to affect the boost and range of crop growth.

- New Turbine item. Used as a crafting ingredient in the Turbine Generator, Wind Generator and CO2 Scrubber (updated recipes for these machines).
